Remco te Winkel

PMO Consultant

What has been your favorite project and why?

There are many. I particularly enjoy the ones building an PMO or Project Management organization and leave the company in a better state. Where they can use the right approach to execute their strategy by means of project management.

Why did you join The PMO Leader community?

Expand my knowledge and network in the field of PMO.

Who is someone you’d like to meet within our industry?

Hard to say. There are so many great people around. I have had the fortune of meeting many of them through TPL.

When did you first know you wanted to be a PMO Leader or Project Manager?

I am an accidental PMO. In 2000 a colleague pointed me at a support role in great project. I never left the profession.

What is something about you not many people know but you’d like to share with the community?

I tell people to chose when it comes to projects, but I cannot do so myself when it comes to hobbies. Just to name a few: photography, video editing, playing the game of go, using my flight simulator, collecting fountain pens, visiting musea.
