PMI announcing their Citizen Development Partner Program?

PMI’s announcement of their Citizen Development Partner Program is music to my ears!

If a reputable organization, such as PMI, is ready to endorse low-code/no-code (LCNC) technology platforms that meet their traditionally high standards of excellence, then I feel confident in claiming that LCNC is ready for primetime. Woo hoo! Let’s buckle up and get ready to scale.

I became a believer and advocate of LCNC 10 years ago when I discovered TrackVia, and I haven’t looked back. As a process improvement professional, TrackVia enables me to solve problems and innovate at a level I couldn’t achieve with spreadsheets, email, and shared drives. I’ve spent the last decade evangelizing for LCNC and Citizen Development because I believe it is the logical next step in our business productivity evolution. PMI’s formal commitment to citizen development makes me and probably the entire LCNC community feel validated. Thank you, PMI!

In addition to offering a vote of confidence in the current state of LCNC, I expect PMI’s partner program will serve as a catalyst for innovation and continuous improvement. Taiichi Ohno, the father of the Toyota Production System, said, “Without standards, there can be no improvement.” PMI’s partner standards should lead to healthy competition that will drive further innovations in quality, speed, and effectiveness. This is certainly a good thing for all.

If you’re not quite sure what all my enthusiasm is about, I encourage you to check out some of the use-cases and stories on TrackVia’s website. Plus, we have a ton of great content about Citizen Development and LCNC technology.
